I thought this was kind of interesting. Apparently Lake Washington Technical College has a partnership with ED Corporation from Korea (they do stuff with robots). I guess a lot of people end up going there to get hands on experience working with robotics system even after they have engineering degrees. They apparently sunk a couple million dollars of brand new equipment into this program, which is pretty sweet.

Yep, the Washington area is a hotspot for all the 'high tech' stuff since its the home base of Microsoft, Nintendo, Boeing and other such companies that deal with the advanced sciences. Not to mention that both Microsoft and Nintendo have several offices located in that same Kirkland area.
So its no surprise that this area is becoming a hot spot for some of the best and brightest recruits in the applied sciences.

If you want to make cool stuff for money then youll have to learn to talk and get good at selling - jobs dont come to you until youre established so normally its a case of getting out there and getting yourself known
